19 nov 2022 · It's a happy ending, but we are mostly told that it's a good ending. Odokawa survives the attack, but we don't see how. The cat is arrested for murder.
While I didn't particularly like the original cliffhanger ending, I don't think In The Woods made the ending better. It's a happy ending, but we are mostly told that it's a good ending. Odokawa survives the attack, but we don't see how. The cat is arrested for murder, but we don't see that either. I still enjoyed it because it's Odd Taxi, and the characters are still fun to watch, but it isn't well executed.

90% recap with very minor scenes added in between. The anime ending is expanded a bit. Little disappointed that we had to wait so long for basically 5 minutes of new content.
